TFT Songs on "The Fight Network"
6 TFT songs have been chosen for a new show called "Rough" airing in the next few weeks on "The Fight Network".
The Songs are split up between the first two episodes so don't forget to watch! Think about it! A front row (your couch) view of people getting their heads smashed to TFT songs!!! That kicks ass!
Episode 1 airs this Thursday November 15th at 8:30 EST and will repeat the rest of the week, and Episode 2 will air Wednesday November 21st at 9:30 EST and again on Thursday at 8:30 EST and 11:30 EST.

TFT will be heading south to Mansfield, Massachusetts to play a show on the Heaven & Hell Tour with Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Queensryche, and many other killer bands!! Kick ass!

Night Five = Hall of Fame!
TFT spent the final night in cage against "Buck Cherry" and came out without a scratch!
After winning 5 nights in a row, TFT has been inducted into the Rock 106 Hall of Fame.
Thanks again to every one that voted. We could not have done it without having the best fans on the planet!
If all goes well, hopefully the boys can make it out that way to play a few shows and show some love to the fans out west!

Holy Crap Batman! TFT wins again! Tonight TFT went up against "Hot Hot Heat" and roasted them!!!

TFT went head to head in the cage tonight with the extremely talented Edmonton band “Tupelo Honey” and we ROCKED THEM!!!!

That also means that TFT will be hitting the streets and clubs pimpin' the new tracks and having some crazy summer fun! INTO THE STUDIO WE GO!
After a long winter of writing and rehearsing, TFT is finally off to the studio to start recording the new album! Excitement is in the air with tracking starting in less then one week. Stay tuned for new pics and video of the boys having a blast in the studio.

A NEW BASS PLAYER!!!
Sometimes things just fall into your lap...good things...not scalding hot coffee!!! That was the case with the newest member of THE FIRST TIME, bassist Norm Petroff. We parted ways with our old bass player on a Saturday afternoon. The next day we received a call from a friend of ours asking if our buddy's band was still looking for a bass player...the reply...no but we are!!!! He passed us Norm's number and things sped along from there. One call, one meeting, one rehearsal = 1 new bass player!!! So without our further ado.... Out of the strait jacket and strait to the stage, Norm Petroff(former bassist from KRONIS) joins The First Time. Known for his commanding vocals and rock-solid bass playing, this new addition brings a new element to the band for the upcoming album. Inspired and influenced by the unconventional styling of Les Claypool (Primus) , the melodic feel of John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), and the crazy fast in your face bass of FLEA (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Norm is a well rounded and extremely versatile bassist. His powerful backing vocals and haunting bass lines make him a dominating sonic force on stage. With years of live and studio experience under his belt, this mad man of the 5 string is a welcome addition to the band. And he's not the ugliest guy in the world either...check out his pics in our 'Photos' section.

The First Time have been asked to perform at this years Toronto Indie Music Awards. The awards will be held at The Phoenix Concert Theatre on October 5th.

We have just signed a licensing deal with The Playboy Network. Playboy will be using NEW DAY DAWNING in the season finale of Jennas American Sex Star. The show is basically the American Idol for Porn Stars and is hosted by none other than Jenna Jameson. We were lucky enough to have the incredibly hot Jenna Presley dancing to our song. We will be heading to Japan from Boston following our gig at the IPO FESTIVAL. Dates have been confirmed for our trip to Japan in November including performing 3 songs live on their "MUSIC ON” television program. .

We will be hitting the studio next week with ANDY CURRAN to start working on a 3-song EP that will include new versions of NEW DAY DAWNING, INTENTIONS, & GOODBYE HARLOWE featuring new vocalist RON MCJANNET and new bassist BILL BORDA.
